The times may change, the threats may become more obscure, the complex nature of 21st century life may make the demand for such presence less obvious. As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

Notice to the Fontana Community: A food giveaway will be held at VFW Post 6563, 9190 Fontana Avenue, Fontana, CA, on Tuesday, Feb 10th , at 0800 hours. Volunteers are needed to assist with unloading a food shipment on Monday, Feb 9th, at approximately 1:00pm  for packing boxes for the event. Further volunteer support is required on Feb 10th, from 0730 hours, for food box distribution. DM me if interested in helping. VR, John
