Lester Mollers serves as a Trustee of Ralph Broiles VFW Post 6563, bringing strong leadership, accountability, and a commitment to ensuring the Post operates with integrity and transparency. In this role, he helps oversee audits, financial procedures, and overall Post operations to ensure everything is conducted properly and in accordance with VFW standards.
A proud United States Marine Corps combat veteran, Lester served with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, Baker Company, Weapons Platoon (0351) from 2007 to 2011 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his service, he developed strong small-unit leadership skills and a deep sense of responsibility to his fellow Marines.
Following his military service, Lester continued to apply his discipline and work ethic in his civilian career as a structural steel estimator. He remains actively engaged in supporting the veteran community and is especially dedicated to helping fellow Marines navigate challenges after service.
Lester plays an important role in connecting veterans, particularly Marines struggling with PTSD, to the VA mental health system and other critical resources. His efforts help ensure that veterans receive the support and care they need during difficult times.
He is a devoted family man, married to his wife, Sara, and the father of six children, including one currently serving in the United States Navy. His strong family values and leadership carry over into his work with the Post and the veteran community.
As a Trustee, Lester is committed to helping ensure the Post remains organized, accountable, and positioned for long-term success. His focus is on maintaining strong oversight while supporting the continued growth and stability of VFW Post 6563.
